Bring your drawings to life through color and detail

Discover what colored pencil can really do. Students will learn how to turn their drawings into vibrant, realistic artwork by layering color, creating rich values, capturing light and shadow, and adding the details that make a subject come alive. With each drawing, they’ll build new skills and see their drawings become more lifelike.

If you love detail, realism, and seeing your drawings come to life in color, you’ll learn the techniques and skills to create artwork you’ll be excited to share.

  • Students will create realistic colored pencil drawings, learning to capture the details that make each subject feel alive. As they develop their skills, they’ll work with color, light, shadow, texture, and depth to create artwork they can be proud of.

Mrs. Elise Ohnouna

Mrs. Elise Ohnouna is a skilled colored pencil artist with a passion for realistic drawing, particularly portraiture. Her artistic training began at a specialized art high school, followed by years of independent study, practice, and continued exploration of realistic drawing techniques. Her work is distinguished by its attention to detail, depth, and ability to capture the character of her subjects. As an instructor, Mrs. Ohnouna is passionate about sharing the techniques and knowledge she has developed throughout her artistic journey, helping students build a strong foundation in realistic drawing and full-color application while gaining confidence and discovering their artistic potential.
